Privacy policy

Meridian Comms runs Meridian Radio for FiveM communities. This page explains what we store and why.

Community accounts

For each community we store the accounts its staff create in the web app (username, display name, password hash, role, and a linked Discord user ID if they add one), the radio system's settings, and an audit log of sign-ins and changes, including the IP address used.

Players

When a player's radio connects, we receive their radio unit ID, radio alias (usually a callsign and name), the agencies their server gives them and, if the community uses Discord roles, their Discord user ID. We use these to run the radio and show who is talking. We don't receive a player's FiveM license, IP address or in-game position history; positions are checked in memory to verify signal and are not stored.

Call recordings

If a community turns on call recording, the audio of radio and dispatch calls is stored with the talkgroup, talker, time and length, for as long as the community chooses (up to its plan's limit), then deleted. Recordings are encrypted when copied to storage. The community's dispatchers and admins can play them, and each playback is logged. Communities are responsible for telling their players that calls are recorded.

Billing

When you sign up we store the community name, web address, plan and email address you enter, and the IP address the signup came from. Payments are handled by Stripe or Tebex. We receive the customer reference, plan and payment status, never card details.

Backups and deletion

Each community's data is backed up hourly, encrypted, and backups are kept for up to 30 days. When a community is deleted at its owner's request, its data, backups and recordings are erased.
